It’s set to be the busiest summer yet on The Great Field and we can’t wait! So many festivals and things to do for all the family so whether you’re just visiting Poundbury or you’re a local person, come in and say hello!

It’s that time of year again…FREE Music at the Pavilion on Saturday 22nd August!
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of live music in the beautiful outdoors 🌞
You can pack a picnic or treat yourself to some lunch at the cafe and just relax whilst you are entertained by local band – Velvet Underground.

SENIOR SOCIAL

Join us for a morning dedicated to the over 65’s.  A warm welcome awaits anyone wanting to increase social interaction and enjoy a free morning of drinks and cake, make new friends and enjoy some good company with our wonderful volunteer Fiona.

Thanks to funding from Poundbury Community Trust we are able to launch our Summer Youth Cafe with Dorchester Youth & Community Centre!
Looking for a place to hang out, meet friends and enjoy fun activities this summer? Come along to the Youth Café at PIPS Café, The Great Field, Poundbury
✅ FREE sessions
✅ Crafts and games every week
✅ Friendly, supervised environment
✅ Snacks and tuck shop available
✅ Drop in and stay as long as you like (just remember to sign in and out)
Every Wednesday (starting on July 22nd), running throughout the summer holidays from 5pm to 8pm. Open to young people aged 10–18.
 

AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB

AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB with Art in Poundbury CIC

Join us in the community room for some fun art and craft activities. Children should be accompanied by an adult ( who are welcome to join in as well!) and places must be pre-booked.  From September, we will continue to offer three FREE sessions per half term, with a new after-school format. Families can arrive from 3.30pm, giving everyone time to settle in with a drink and biscuits before the session begins at 4pm If you would like to book a place please contact kerry@pipspoundbury.com

chess club

Chess Club runs every Tuesday from 2pm! If you enjoy playing chess or would like to learn more about it just come to PiPs and see Mike or Mark who will be glad to help!

ODDFELLOWS AFTERNOON OF BOARD & TABLETOP GAMES

New to the Community Room – a monthly games afternoon – everyone welcome!

Come and enjoy good company, cakes and drinks from 2pm – 5pm.
