SENIOR SOCIAL - FREE SOCIAL MORNING FOR OVER 65'S
Join us for a morning dedicated to the over 65’s. A warm welcome awaits anyone wanting to increase social interaction and enjoy a free morning of drinks and cake, make new friends and enjoy some laughter with our wonderful volunteer Fiona.

CHESS CLUB
After School Art is back!
Join us in the community room for some fun art and craft activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult and places must be pre-booked. We have been able to increase the number of sessions we can offer due to the amazing funding we have received from Art in Poundbury. Chess Club runs every Tuesday from 2pm! If you enjoy playing chess or would like to learn more about it just come to PiPs and see Mike or Mark who will be glad to help!
music at the pavilion
As the end of the summer holidays approaches, we have our final outdoor FREE music event from 12 – 2pm on Friday 6th September where we will be joined by Franz who has sung for us before and is always entertaining and brilliant! We are also introducing Charmian, who is a jazz singer and keyboardist with a smooth, mellow style and a playfully inventive repertoire covering an eclectic songbook ranging from Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael to Bonnie Raitt, Celeste and Laufey.
DIGITAL CHAMPIONS
Every Thursday, our fabulous Digital Champions Volunteer will be coming to the Community Room to help with all things digital.
If you need any kind of support using your phone / tablet or laptop, they will be available to talk you through any queries or worries.
Our Digital Champion will be with us every week from 2pm – 4pm and you can come as many times as you please, they can even give you tasks to practise and come back the following week for the next steps.
Why not have a cuppa and some delicious cake whilst you build up your confidence in all things digital.
SUPPER CLUB
We are very excited to announce that Supper Club is back! Come and join us on Friday 20th September and enjoy Rosemary’s last meal with us before she retires ( Supper Club will continue into the Autumn and Winter months though! ). We have a delicious 3 course meal including vegetarian options. £25per person with a non-refundable £5 deposit. BYO alcohol if you would like to.
